reflection

We have been going through a lot with sickness in our family.  I can get discouraged as I think about it.  But really, I am so blessed.  I have much to be thankful for!  A warm home, hot coffee, a family that is amazing and loves me- and  a God who takes care of me, giving me stability and "everything pertaining to life and godliness".

Poor Jeremiah.  He was so sick.  Someone asked how long the recovery period would be.  I answered, "As long as we can keep him down!".  He has already been pleading with me to "let" him go to Club Hope on Saturday and to "let" him go on the bus to pick up the kids.  I hope he rests long enough to heal!

Sometimes I feel like these guys are more like Jonathan and David than Cameron and Jeremiah!

word search

 Micah has been working hard on some word search puzzles.  It's not an easy book he's working out of!  I came home from a date with Matt and Micah was sitting quietly in the chair with a pencil and the book- with a very focused look on his face!

finally!

We finally got some snow!  Caleb went out to shovel and Micah went with him.  (Notice the football eye black on Micah's face!) Micah cleared off so much of Brianna's car all on his own!

Two of our HFK girls won a party because they completed an entire month of the Word of Life Quiet Time!  I picked them up after school and brought them to our house.  We had a great time playing games, eating pizza, making whoopie pies, and having a prayer time!  I'm proud of these girls!

This reminds me of when he did this with Brianna and Cameron.  Now it's Leah and Micah.  And it's just as sweet!
