16!

Cameron turned 16!  I can hardly believe it.
I can't say enough about my son-  I couldn't ask for a better one!  There aren't many people I'd rather spend time with than him.  He makes me laugh like nobody's business and is such a gentleman.  I took him to Dunkin' Donuts on the morning of his birthday and he had to run ahead of me to get the door for me saying, "It's hard to get the door for  a Townsend!"  (we Townsends are fast!)  He is great with the little ones.  He took a DISC test and scored high I.  This is how it was explained:
A person with an i style
  • is motivated by social recognition, group activities, and relationships
  • prioritizes taking action, collaboration, and expressing enthusiasm
  • is described as convincing, magnetic, enthusiastic, warm, trusting and optimistic
  • may be limited by being impulsive and disorganized and having lack of follow-through.
  • may fear loss of influence, disapproval and being ignored
  • values coaching and counseling, freedom of expression and democratic relationships
Funny how much that does describe him!

He seeks to please God in what he does and that makes Matt and me so happy! He has a great relationship with Matt and has a teachable spirit that is an example to me.

Cameron has spent his last 6 birthdays at CYIA.  He's a great sport though!  I am proud of him for spending his summer reaching kids with the Gospel.

Happy Birthday, Cameron!
