I really went a long time without blogging,  but there are things I don't want to forget!

Leah's encounter with stinging nettle....not fun!

Micah thinks he needs to fix any and every piece of machinery we own!

Helping Mom weed one of the flower gardens...with great and helpful attitudes!

Setting up the volleyball net.

Not afraid to read the instructions- love him!

My beautiful lavendar that was a gift from one of my CC students

Best friends since....well, forever

Sunday was a crazy day.  Matt needed to pick up some kids in the city who received Word of Life camp scholarships.  He planned to bring them to the location where they were taking a bus to get there, then drive home and get us, and head to church where he was supposed to share.  Well, it ended up that two of the boys who were planning to go to camp, didn't have their paperwork completed and were never registered.  Poor Matt had to tell them that they weren't going to camp!  Thankfully our church had a minigolf and ice cream day planned for the kids and we were able to soften the blow by taking them with us.  And, we actually never made it to church . Matt had to wait with the group for over an hour while they tried to see if the boys were actually registered or not.  Our sweet church waited for us to get to the mini golf place before they started!

Passed this on my way to the dining room.  So cute!

Brianna is the most amazing cook.....really.  She whips up the most delicious appetizers and entrees I've ever had.  Her homemade "chick-fil-a" sauce beats the real thing.  Her cheese sauce for nachos?  Should be patented.  Pastas, chicken dishes, potatoes...  she could make some serious money. And by the way, she doesn't need a recipe. You're a lucky guy, Erik!  In the meantime, I'm packing on the pounds ;)
