church, lunch, corn maze

What a beautiful day- couldn't have asked for a better fall day in New England!  After picking up a couple little friends of ours, we went to church.  Andrew's class got to hear a testimony from a man who leads a Sunday morning ministry to homeless people who live under the bridges in Springfield.  The kids then made up bags of toiletries so Mr. Freeman could pass them out to the homeless next Sunday.  They loved the opportunity!

After church the kids love to go play in the sandbox or play basketball while the adults visit.

As part of a church outing, we went out to lunch.  Delicious!

Following lunch, we headed to Mikey's Cornmaze.  My team, called Sethy's Pickles (and yes, there is an absolutely adoreable story behind it), was the last one out!  There was, however, an older lady who went back into the maze- Cameron was called upon because he is an EMT to go in with the owner to find her!

Guess who's tired??  Poor Micah said he wanted to go lay in his bed.  My "baby" sure loves his naps!  You can tell he's tired by the finger on his ear :)

I so enjoyed today.  God is so good!  Yesterday was POURING down rain and we would not have been able to go.  Today?  Perfect weather!
